Fun in Fredericksburg – April 1 through April 5, 2024
For many years I have gone to Fredericksburg the first week of April for 5 days of eat/sleep/ride. Several friends have gone with me who, like me, enjoy hills for breakfast. Fredericksburg is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country so our routes are not flat. We ride Monday through Thursday and grab a short ride on Friday morning before traveling home.
The routes use scenic back roads (once we get out of town) that have very low traffic levels. The wildflowers are usually a great addition to the scenery, especially on the Willow City Loop
If you are interested in joining us, you are welcome to do so. All our rides are self supported and our pace is not aggressive. Feel free to communicate with me by email (lower right corner of this page) if you want to share some rides with us. You can ride as few or as many rides with us as your schedule allows.
Stay where you like and eat where you like. Fredericksburg is full of lodging and dining options. I like to stay at the Sunset Inn – a very simple, low cost motel. To get their best rates, call them directly.
