Do you like to ride your bicycle on the rural roads of Texas?

I love to ride my bicycle. I began pursuing fitness on a bicycle back in 1974, mostly as a commuter. Then, in 1987, I discovered small town bike rides and fell in love. There is just so much to experience while I am out on my bicycle. Not only do I get to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of my surroundings, I get to share the journey with other people during the ride – other riders, event organizers, event volunteers and the local community. Additionally, I get to reap the health benefits provided by cycling. Care to join me?

We offer two ride series, the European Tour of Texas and the Road to Hotter’N Hell. When you register for one of these series, you become part of our Fun Bikin’ community. Your registration includes the rides you select. In 2026, we are offering more choices for our ride bundles. For details, please read the information below.

Since 2020, more than 1,000 cyclists have become a part of the Fun Bikin’ community. We want to encourage you to get out on your bicycle and make new friends while you experience the countryside on your bicycle.

All of our featured events offer a variety of distances and our bundles offer options for 3, 4, 5 or 6 rides.

In 2026 we’re offering 2 NEW options for our bundles

Just Ride Bundles

For years riders have appreciated our bundle option. Register once with us and you are automatically entered in all the rides included in your bundle. In 2026, we’re offering all our bundles for the European Tour of Texas (3 or 4 rides) and the Road to Hotter’N Hell (3, 4, 5 or 6 rides) with the Just Ride option.

Rides & Socks Bundles

We’ll also offer all our ride bundles with the option to add a pair of custom socks from DeFeet. These socks will feature artwork that matches our jersey design and come in a full range of sizes.

Rides & Jersey Bundles

We’ll still offer our standard bundles that include one of our custom, made to order jerseys from Peak 1 Sports.

We’re currently at work finalizing our jersey designs and the images to be used on our socks. We’ll be posting these images soon. Registration for our bundles will open January 1, 2026.

Every spring, I spend a week in Fredericksburg enjoying the hills and the quiet roads in Gillespie County. Fredericksburg also have some great places to stay and some very nice places to eat.
