CYCLING

Cycling comes in many shapes, types, sizes and speeds. Some like to race. We like to ride.

When we began our cycling adventure in 1974, it was in the pursuit of aerobic fitness. While I have never raced, riding bicycles for transportation and recreation since that time has delivered an excellent level of healthy fitness. My cycling stayed personal until about 1987.

In 1987, my career path took a slight turn when I began working within the North Texas Cycling Community as a cycling coach/trainer. After a part time pursuit that went in many directions, we opened up our Bikin' Blast Training Center in October 2000. Since that time, we have developed a variety of training programs for individuals and groups. Our clinics give you good knowledge to guide your progress. Our workshops, indoors and out, provide an opportunity to learn theory while applying the techniques. We provide a group training program for the largest century bike ride in the US, the Hotter 'N Hell Hundred - and a 5 month winter training program to keep your legs and lungs healthy through the winter months.
